hi everyone
I own a 1958 with a 352 which came with the downdraft tube. I would like to convert this setup to a more "socially responsible" PCV set up (in part because the downdraft tube is long gone).
Alexander has published a good amount of information here about how to set such a system up. My problem is simple: where do you get the fitting (or a functional equivalent) that goes in the rear of the intake manifold and thus begins the system? The part number, for 61-64 seems to be 6A665 (or that is a partial part # - never sure), but all parts suppliers seem to no longer stock these and say that the actual supplier of them has either gone out of business or quit making that particular part.
Once I can hook into the intake manifold, I feel confident about building the rest of the system but I need something there to get started from. The inside diameter of the hole in mine appears to be 1 1/4".
thanks!
John
