Default 2008 Calendar Photos Needed

I have made calendars for the past few years for the visitors of Squarebirds.org. The New Year is barely four months away. I do not want to wait until the last minute. If you want your Squarebird in the new 2008 Squarebirds calendar, please submit a high resolution image that will look good when printed out in 8.5" x 11" to webmaster at squarebirds dot org.

I will also make a calendar for other Thunderbirds and Fords or other vehicles if I get enough submissions. All I ask is that you buy them, if you submit photos.

Deadline for submissions is October 15, 2007. Get out your cameras while the weather is nice.

Previous calendars can be seen at http://www.cafepress.com/sportsterror/959843

Good thinking, to get moving now!

There are alot of black as well as white TBirds on prior calendars (I am one of them...). Perhaps we could beat the bushes for some other colors.

Fuz (who shares this view) has a neat shot of a pink 58 with a black top in his yard. The car is in rough shape but the color is unique and the picture interesting.

I agree. I think black (mine) and white were the most common colors. Alexander probably has the stats !

I receive the photo of that junked pink Squarebird. It is true that a rusted Squarebird with a broken windshield looks better than a new Lexus, but would Squarebird enthusiasts like seeing a Squarebird in that condition in a calendar? I am not sure. I would like to hear the opinion of others.

When I went looking for my '59 T-Bird in 1981, I saw 9 cars before I bought mine. All of them were white.

White, black and red are the most common colors. Everything else is relatively rare. A lot of the Squarebirds that I see at shows in other than the usual colors were once one of the usual colors.

I'd like to see cleaned up birds, not junkers.

Cool Calender Pix

I would tend to agree that project / in the process of cars may not be the best on calendars in pictures. Having said that, some of our members may want to show the different stages of the restoration each year that are in quite good shape.
I would vote, that these cars be monitored for presentation B4 being accepted and that would help screen them.
There are a lot of white / black BUT we have Marc Rojas's 59 and Mike Lemmon's 60 on the 2007 calendar. Perhaps our other members, it different colours, can submit to Alexander
and then we would have several colours on our upcoming calendar. I will submit mine, 58 HT white, IF required and if Alexander needs it.
