    Road Testing the '66 Flairbird

Steven Puig sent me a copy of the article from Car Life back in June, 1966. They road tested a '66 428 equipped Flairbird Landau. The copy is a bit hard to read on the second place, but I did not know how to clean it up. Hopefully, you will be able to read through it. Thanks, Steve! Here is the link to the article.

A great read for those that own a '66 Landau!

5,700lb with four passengers and luggage!? - so that's why my Thunderbird rode so smoothly when Yellowbird and wife shared the ride with myself and wife on the road-trip earlier this year.

And our gas mileage was a lot better than the test cars - even considering I deal with UK gallons.
