1960 Golde Top With Tail Light Problem

I have a 1960 Squarebird
She has a factory installed 'Golde' Sun Roof.
She has been rebuilt as a NASCAR replica.
She has a 460 Holman and Moody racing engine and a 707 Torque Flight transmission.
Aqua and white interior, aqua exterior with white racing decals, including the number 60.
(the grill is not a 1960)
asking $15,000.

Patty's car now belongs to me!

Good day YellowRose! I realize this post is a couple of years old, but I thought I would reach out anyway. I am the latest owner of Patricia's T-bird and am brand new to the T-bird world. The car currently has no brake lights, and I can not for the life of me find a switch near the brake pedal. Any wise words or hints would be greatly appreciated, TIA, Bruce

The brake light switch is on the front of the master cylinder. It uses brake fluid to turn off and on.

You're welcome. Here's what it looks like.

Unplug both wires and jump them together and see if your brake lights come on. If so the switch needs replacement. If not, more diagnostic work is in order.
