Default Richard ~ 1960_430_AU Tbird

Richard from Down Under owns two 1960 Tbirds, one a Golde Top and the other a Black Raven. Both of them are J Code Tbirds. Here is a picture of the Golde Top with the external chrome kit in place. She is really pretty!

Very cool. I don't think I've seen an all tan leather interior. I thought the tan leather had darker brown carpets and other panels.

Here is what Automotive Mile Posts has to say about this.
http://automotivemileposts.com/tbird...eriortrim.html

The genuine leather upholstery pattern for 1960 differed from that of previous models, and also did not match the upholstery patterns for the cloth and vinyl, nor the all-vinyl interiors. The pattern utilized for the genuine leather interior was of a vertical pleated design, which extended to the door trim panels and the rear quarter trim panels. The only color selection in leather that featured a contrasting color was the code 84 Tan interior. The instrument panel, panel console, carpeting, and the section of the door trim panels that surrounds the metal trim are all a Dark Beige with this particular trim code only.

I don't remember what trim code number that Richard has on this Tbird, but he can tell us. I don't remember it being Trim Code 84.

Yes it is 84 interior
The bird doesn't look bad in the pics but I'm not happy with the paint so I'm going to repaint it soon
It was a 298/300 concourse winner in 2003 but has suffered neglect on the exterior since
Mechanically and interior is nearly flawless, I have new carpet to go in and also the trunk kit
Here's the build plate and some more pics
