Quarter window seal installation ? with photo

Does the "flap" on this seal go to the inside or outside of the car?

Does the stepdown in the seal end go to the top of the window or the bottom?

The flap goes toward the inside of the car so the door window overlaps it. The step down goes on the top. The factory also put a bevel cut on the bottom of the seal so it doesn't catch on the pillar post.

I had to trim the bottom of the seal where it is beveled so it wouldn't catch on the pillar post. No big deal, but the seal was catching on the lip of the pillar post. This may depend on how your windows are adjusted.
