What color should my transmission & engine oil indicator handles be? I have painted my engine oil indicator handle white like the air cleaner and I left my trans indicator handle natural metal for now...

What color should my oil filler cap be? I know the rule books says black on ALL oil filler caps 1958-60. However, mine looked original and so I lightly sanded it down by handle to the bare metal. My oil filler cap was WHITE like my air cleaner and I never saw a trace of black paint underneath, so as a result, I painted mine white to match the air cleaner for now. I wish I had taken a few pics of this cap and the sanding process....

I just wanted some opinions guys....

On a 430, it's all black, black, black. Everything except the air cleaner and exhaust manifold.

The 430 is not colorful at all --especially if you also have Raven Black, which means that the fender wells are also black.
