Anybody with a partial or full golde roof assy?

    Hello,

I need a full golde roof assembly (Sheet metal and all) for a 1960. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

I know Bob's Bird House has a complete roof assy, and I also have one that is still on the car.

Question: how wide a range of cars had the same Golde sunroof that the 1960 TBirds had, aside from the windbar in front?

Unless someone has evidence to the contrary, it would surprise me if Golde manufactured a unique piece for the Thunderbird. If that is true, then there are other cars out there that might act as donors, or other specific salvage people who might have them.

Kevin may know this as he has some period literature.

            John,
I am looking into one possible lead, the Mercedes 220 seb range from 1961 to 1969 in to early 70s had the Golde roof near on par as the T-bird, remember that it was only the inside workings that could be interchanged with modifications, the sliding panel was cut from the cars roof for its contours and fit lines.

However trying to find a Mercedes with a Golde is rare, and restoration projects are high bucks, rightly so too as they were beautiful cars.

              Golde Sunroof Handle

I found a sunroof and I am fired up. Does any body have a Golde handle to go with it or know where I can find one.
              Thank you Tim

nybody with a partial or full golde roof assy?

Hi! Congratulations! I know that Bob at Bob's Bird House had a complete roof. If you did not get yours from him, call him and ask him if he has a spare handle for it. You can also try John Draxler at Tbird Ranch. You might even try Don at Bird Nest. You can find their contact info in the Advertisements Forum down below this. Let us know how you come out.

Here is another possible source, though they feature VW parts. It is my understanding that the VW sunroofs often used the same parts we had on our Tbird Golde Tops.

                Check this company out also.
