Hello all, well after 5 months our 59 Squarebird is finally finished. We went down to the body shop last night at 7pm and helped the kid finish, so 12:30 in the AM, the car rolls out of the bay, wet sanded, buffed and detailed. Went to a car show today, 500 cars, wow, was fun, we drove her all day and put her away at 9:30 pm. Well you sure cant put a price on happiness, we had a blast with her today! People taking pics and asking tons of questions. My wife made a great decision buying a Squarebird.

The interior is in pretty good shape. I think we might keep it the Hickory Tan, get the seats re-upholstered, the dash, headliner and door panels have been redone by the previous owner.

Should we keep the color tan or change to another?

That is a very pretty interior! Nicely done. It is up to you! As Alexander told me, you paid the money, you get to decide what to do with the car! What you have looks beautiful, but if you want to match the interior paint to the exterior.... How beautiful that would be! That exterior color and white would really be something!

Itīs very hard to judge from the pictures if the interior color matches the exterior. If you feel itīs tone-in-tone it should be OK. If you are unsure, ask your wife. She will see if it works at once.

The wife says it matchs, all new cars that are red or marron have a tan interior... I think she is right, so I think we will just get the seat recovered in the same color....
