    speaker grill removal

Hey all. I am trying to remove the speaker grill on my 62 and I am afraid I am going to tear it up before I get it out. I have a manual but there is nothing on how to, just says remove it. I figured it just pops out, but prying on it is just making it loose. The dash pad has been recovered and I am afraid they might have used something besides stock clips to retain it. Am I missing something? Any help is much appreciated! Larry

    Larry,

Everyone that I've removed just pops out. It shouldn't have any bolts holding it in place. If they did something when they installed the dash then that's anybody's guess. I would just keep going around it with a thin putty knife and see if that works.
