    Radiator fan cover

    Hi folks

    1959 ford thunderbird 352v8

I noticed the radiator fan cover is really expensive to buy ...... Expenses to buy and bring here would be abt 350 eur ... Due to high shipping costs

is there somebody who have one which is not fitted in place and can be so kind to send me a msg with a sketch showing the measurments.. preferably in mm .. for i s like to manufacture one in sheetl metal in my shop

    Please

    Much regards

    Geoffrey from Malta Europe

The re-prod ones work, but $$$$$$
        They don't fit perfectly.
If you can find an early 60s full size Ford or Merc w/the
orig metal shroud. Then you'll have a factory looking
        piece that fits right.

            summit fan shroud kit

Here's a photo. Car is still under wraps from winter, but is coming out soon. My car has a 460 engine, so the fan location (in respect to distance from the radiator) may be different on a car with a 352.

Google early '60's Ford metal fan shroud and you will find several for sale on FeeBay and other places....

I must agree that we need to pay more attention to the location of our Tbird owners when they post. In Geoff's case, his location is indicated in his user id! Otherwise, look to the right side of the post and you will see where everyone is located at. Geoff, I will see if I can get the measurements of the fan shroud that the '60's big Fords had on them. Mine, if I remember correctly, is a metal one off a '60's Galaxie. Mine is installed and I don't know if I can get the measurements off mine.

Yes, in addition to that I wonder if some Stateside guys realise the scarcity of old American car parts in places like Aussie, NZ, Malta and other countries well away from the US.
And while we got some US cars we never got any new Thunderbirds, Mustangs etc through our Ford dealerships.
