    drain trap

Does anyone know where I can find a new drain trap for the a/c? It is the rubber piece that traps the water and releases it when full.

    drain trap

Try Bob's Bird House, the Bird Nest, John Draxler at Thunderbird Ranch. They have parts cars. Or try any of our Tbird venders listed in the Advertisements Forum. Hopefully, one of them will have it.

The A/C drain is part of the heater box, there is no rubber hose on the firewall side. You don't want water being held back in the system. I don't remember where I got this from, I hope it's ok to use.

Thanks to a squarebirds member, I need to correct my earlier post. There was a rubber part called 'evaporator drain trap' I have never seen one being reproduced. Looking in a different volume of the MPC on disc ,I was able to blow the picture up and made it easier for me to see. For what it's worth, your A/C system will work fine without it. Hope this clears things up, and thanks Ian, Bob C
