Lex Shows Us His License Plates

I just received this email from Lex ~ lexdownunder showing us his new license plates on his gorgeous Raven Black '59 Squarebird. Here is what he had to say.

"Hi Ray I've had to license my Tbird in Tasmania but small problem with the width of a Tasmanian plate. 372mm wide where as the U.S. width is 300mm. I had Western Australian personalised plates made up to U.S.A. sizing but unfortunately am not allowed to use those plates in Tasmania. Tasmania only has the one width for all style plates so I've had to make brackets for the rear plate & mount it using the bumper mounting bolts.

The obvious solution to fill the space for the U.S. size rear frame was to use your Squarebirds.org license plate. Arrived today & I'm overjoyed at just how great it looks. Couldn't resist sending you a pic. Great design Ray. Maybe now I won't be asked as much as to what type of car it is!!! Cheers Lex"

If you would like to have your own Squarebirds.org license plate for your Tbird you can order one from the Dreams2Things website. We have them for 1955-1966 and 2002-2005 Tbirds. There are a lot of other neat Squarebirds.org items that have been available for quite some time. Just click on the Merchandise icon at the top of the Forum in the heading. It will take you right to the website.
