2pc gen 2 alt low mount altenator mounting kit for engines with NO boss or hole on engine face, uses special bracket that mounts to the tapped hole that the generator bracket originally used on side of block, black powder coating accommodates Ford OR GM alternators - clears 8" dia balancer, Fits 332-390 engines. 1pc gen2alt low mount polished stainless steel alt mtg kit uses special bracket that mounts to the tapped hole on the face block that the generator bracket originally used. Can only accept a Ford or aftermarket alternator in a 1st generation Ford configuration. Part # 92264 $129

Ford started putting the boss and hole on the front of the engine face (to accept an alternator) on some FE blocks in 1962.

C.R.A.P. Alternator Mounting Bracket

Larry has said that his website is down and being revamped. It should be back up by the end of this month, in a few more days. In the meantime, if you need to contact him, either call or email him. He has developed a new, smaller black coated alternator bracket for use on 352/390 engine blocks with or without the necessary mounting hole. As soon as I get the additional information on it, part #'s, and cost, I will let you know..
