    John Goulet's maps

John Goulet sent me three "classic" maps.

John, I can't thank you enough. All three are in pristine condition. Two of them (Shell Oil - North Central & South Central States) have NO interstate highways! These are even better than classic. They are very rare indeed and printed before Thunderbird was an idea.

The other is a Bi-Centenial Map of the Midwest (Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Wisconsin, Kentucky, Virginia and West Virginia) was printed in 1975 and it does show Interstate highways.

Last time I saw maps this old of 'the states' in such great condition, was back in the day. I'm looking at Route 66 from Chicago to St. Louis but much of that road has turned into I-55 so Route 66 doesn't exist any more in many areas. The same holds true with "The Chicago Road" between Detroit and Chicago. It has changed names, as many roads have. VERY COOL!!!
Thanks again John, you're a prince.
