430 Oil Pan

Careful -- I bought a Lincoln 430 oil pan on Ebay thinking it was the same as the T-Bird 430 pan. My original pan is dented pretty bad. Once I got the pan off the car, it was clear that they are NOT the same. I think the Lincoln pan would interfere with suspension/steering parts.

On the same topic - anyone straighten an oil pan? I was going to heat it with a torch and pound it out. Primitive, but should work.

I've never done that before, and as hard to find as these pans are u have nothing to lose by trying....
