front seat back

working on a 1966 drivers seat. Trying to get the steel back off.
How do you remove the aluminum trim that goes around the edge ? Shop manual is not very clear.

It comes off as a single unit. You don't have to remove the trim to get the back off. Just remove the screws underneath.

There are screws and clips underneath the aluminum trim. It should slide off a one piece.
