    60 Ford suspension

Does anyone know if the 60 full size Ford front suspension is the same or very similar to the 60 Thunderbird suspension? The reason I need to know this is I want to replace the coil springs on my T-bird with air bags from Air Ride Technologies and they don't make a set up for the square bird but they do for the full size Ford. Or does anyone know of another application that will fit?
    Thanks.

    RE: 60 Ford suspension

The lower A-arms are the same, the uppers are similar. This is shown in my listing for Full-Size Fords '57 to '59 compared to the '59 Thunderbird. I do not believe there was a change for 1960.

It is interesting to note that the upper A-Arms on the 1958 thunderbird were the same as the Full-Size Fords equipped with air suspension. It looks like the air-suspension was pulled from the Thunderbird at the 11th hour.

      Thanks,
I'm thinking that I could probably make it work. I am waiting on a reply from someone on the Air Ride Technologies forum who might have additional info.
