Still pictures don't do chrome any justice. It's like taking pictures of a mirror, all you see is reflection.
The under-side of all chrome is the same. All you see is the reflection of whatever the piece is tangent to. The bottom-sides of your bumpers follow the same looks.
Fender aprons point downward so naturally, all you will see is, 'road'. Moving around and looking at it in stereo-vision renders a much more pleasing appearance.
