    I do Mechanical restoration of all Ford products. No body work, although I will do anything under the car too. Been a Ford tech for 50 years, am retired but still like the old cars. $20.00 an hour, not as fast as I used to be, but very particular onn quality of work done. call me at 712-733-8809, Harlan, Iowa.

    You need to advertise down in southern Missouri. When I bought my '55 Ford, nothing electrical worked. The previous owner said he couldn't find a mechanic "that knows how to fix these old cars".

    When I got under the dash, I found wire ends dangling. Then it dawned on me that they used to be in fuse holders. After many decades, the polymers baked out of the plastic and they simply crumbled away.

    After matching the color codes, everything started working again. When I looked up, I could see through the speaker cone because the paper separated from being old. Amazingly, the original Motorola radio even worked, vibrator and all.
