Bryan, do you have any other views of that wild Tbird you can share with us? I would never do that to any car. However, there are a thing or two that I like about it.. One of them is the chromed fender skirts. Those would look really sharp in conjunction with the external chrome kit on someone's Black Beauty, like fomoco's or Bart's!

I don't get the "clouds" either, but it does set it off. I agree with Anders though, when he said at least it is a "saved" Squarebird. It is a lot better to be "saved" than "crushed".

      ok, I had another peek...

I'm thinking the white stuff refers to a "dream" - I could be entirely wrong of course, LOL

the white stuff would reflect light into the glitter in the paint as well, better than sitting on a dark surface

As we are into it, here´s another customized one. A ´58 in a pretty bad shape, to say the least....Or was.
We have a pretty big annual Custom Car Show, every easter holliday, and last year, they masked this car Live. I´m not sure, but I beleve thay painted it afterwards. They flew over Art Himsl:n from USA to mask and paint it together with Ray Hill and Finnish "Master of Pinstiping" Pecka Wizzz.
This year, they hired one of the very best interior guys in the business here, Bo Sybo Warfwinge ( who happend to be married to one of my ex girlfriends.... ), to make the upholstery Live. He is also a supernice guy. With good taste, Eeehh...
        I love it!

Btw. The cars name is Mystery Bird

          Oh my...I'm feeling faint....need air....ACK...!!!

Although, that gold flecked upholstery would look very kewl as a pin stripe....on a black car with flames on it....

          Mystery Bird?
Thats not a name its a label

          ooo...I'm being sour here, sorry....

No, didn't miss a link. I meant that it needs to be painted.
I prefer stock, to custom, it least on collectable, special interest cars.

Here are a few photos of a bird that was listed on craiglist a while back near me. Never went to look at it, but.....

Couple things that interested me, the rear view mirror and what he used for the front grill.

I think I have figured out what that white stuff is under that first car! It must represent what that guy was on when he tattoed that Tbird! As for the other pix, ya'll are really digging up some wild ones! I have seen pix of that white and blue one before. That looks like an old Pontiac hood ornament! I have not seen one of those for awhile!

                    Original or Custom

                    Hey Guys,
Let's not forget one thing, what makes the Squarebirb Unique is its Style (shape). From there on everyone has a personal something to add to them. Wouldn't it be dull going to Classic Car Shows & seeing the same Cars over & over again without some change. I think it's great that we have the die-hards that prefer originality to the T. Those with a touch of change & those that go to where no-one has gone before. No matter, they are "THUNDERBIRDS"

                    Chris....From the Land of OZ.

ok guys the white stuff under the car was a trick they used to do in custom cars shows back in the 60'sand 70's i believe larry watson was the guy that started it

i like all of these birds the white one is cool kinda larry watson style but i dont care for the tailight bezels painted white
hmm the peep mirrior is cool i was going to put thos on rosie but i couldnt figure out where they would work with the tilted a-pillars never thought about puttin them where that guy did

the gold interrior has GOT TO GO
heres a pic of the first customized square its larry watsons car now owned by billy gibbons (from zztop) and is being restored by socal speed shop
