Chris ~ bird 60 sent me a picture of him and his beautiful red/white Tbird at the Down Under 2013 All Ford Day event in his area on a hot and humid day. He said there were about 500 cars there. Once again, his Tbird was awarded Best Tbird in the competition. Here is the pic he sent. Congratulations!

What's that emblem on the front fender? My '60 doesn't have this. Was that an option? -
bird 60 Wins Again!
Hi Marcelo! That is probably a '59 Tbird emblem from the looks of it. A couple of years back, or so, Lou Paliani, retired VTCI president, who lives here in San Antonio, gave me a set of them with yellow wings. He said that he had been given them years ago, and was waiting to find someone with a yellow and white Tbird to give them to. When he saw my Rose for the first time, he said that I had no idea how long he has been waiting to see a Tbird like mine that was worthy of those emblems and handed them to me. They were so old, but still in a plastic package, that they had the old pre-zip code address of the company in New York that made them! They are magnetic and I only put them on when on show. Although, I once drove her home with them still on and when I got home, they were still there! I try to never forget to take them off after that incident. Here is a pic.Attached Files
