    tire size

I have acquired a set of 16x7 5x4.5 alloy wheels with a 4 in back space and 0 off set. What is the largest tire size I can use and have clearance for my 59?

Here are some tire sites that may help in measuring different tires and rims:

I measured everything and thought I was in good shape. Plenty of clearance on rear skirts with standard offset with 15" rims. Where I did end up in trouble was the front tire rubbing on the upper ball joint. I used 225 X 15 tires and needed to add 1/4" spacers on the front.

Either 225/60R16 or 235/60R16 are close in height to the originals and should clear with zero offset wheels. I run 235 width on my 8" wide 17" wheels with zero offset with only very slight rubbing at full steering lock to the left. The tight spot is the upper ball joint in the front.
