    Barrel nuts

Trying to put new barrel nuts into rear quarter on 65 ht drill size supposed to be .156 and is for this script nut,but it doesn't seem like they will go without a hammer.

I replaced all of mine, but they went into original holes. Are you drilling new holes? How do they fit on the scripts? I pushed the new nuts in with a screwdriver handle with no issues.

Holes are there just reaming them out nuts slide over the posts in scripts easy, they must compress somewhat when pushed in.the nuts should be put in sheet metal first correct?

Yup, they go in first and are a bit stiff going in. I started them with my thumb then finished with a screwdriver handle. You want the scripts to stay put. Good luck, Bob C
