I'm happy with my Coker 2 1/2" 225/75 14 White Walls. The have been on my Bird for the past 7 1/2 years.

          I'm happy with my Coker 2 1/2" 225/75 14 White Walls.

Robert I agree with Chris. I have had the above radials on our 58 for quite some time, the ride is excellent and rotate the tires every 2 years.

As Devil's Advocate I wouldn't purchase Coker Classic's again. I had a bead failure and Coker blamed the Tire Rack "recommended" shop.

I agree with 225/75R because 215 seems to run the speedo a good 5% slow.

I'm with Dean on this one.

Look and so far quality seem fine on mine (only about 2,000 - 3,000 miles so far) but handling is far worse than my Diamond Backs. Two places I notice it the most are curvy mountain roads and grooved interstate (which is what I drive the most). Around town below 50 mph is fine.

              Running 215 75 14's on mine.

I'm not 100% sure of this, but I seem to remember that the tire shop recommended the Coker American Classic over the standard Coker tire. When you look at their site, the American Classic says "made in the USA" and there is nothing said when you look at the Coker tire. Their doesn't seem to be that much difference in price so I went with the American Classics. Don't have enough miles on them to really make a good determination, but in all honesty, the tires will probably dry rot long before I wear them out.

Also the American Classic lists the whitewall as 2 1/4" which is the correct size. The Coker Classics are 2 1/2". It doesn't sound like much but I can notice the difference.

I didn't know 2 1/4" is the correct whitewall width. That's only 537 things I didn't know about the car.

The American Classic comes in 225 75R14, Diamondbacks, if I'm not mistaken, disappointingly do not. Well like Nyles said, I'll replace my Coker's before they wear out.
