This is turning out to be a 'who dunnit'.

FedEx came to my door today, looking for my signature. Ok, the box looks a little tall; I wonder what it is!

There was a note inside but it said nothing regarding the sender. Neither did the shipping label.

LOOK WHAT IT IS! Will the sender please chime in? Apparently he knows the good stuff. Click on the images for the larger version:

Robin was just as surprised as I was. Time to christen it since we're both coming down with a cold.

Sure wish I knew who sent it so I could thank them personally. I don't know how on Earth he knew that Rye is my fav. - Dave

I guess the rest of us need to try a little harder.

      Santa Clause?

Whomever it was is top notch - just like the webmasters....

Hate to hear about the cold - hopefully the "elixir" will oust all the germs in a hurry.

You know it wasn't me, because it would be half empty.

OMG! Robin took the first shot and said, "Don't put that in the liquor cabinet." After my shot I knew exactly why, because it's soooo smooth. It's only coming out on very special occasions, when Robin & I can enjoy it alone.

I kinda figured out who sent it and I have to admit John, I really don't deserve such a nice gift. It's over the top.
Thanks for your kind words, Eric. - Dave

He sounds a lot better than those rap songs I heard.
What a cutie. I think he's crying for a ride in that T-bird.

Thanks for the kudos, Dano. BUT, only two shots are taken so far and the bottle is neatly tucked away for more festive occasions with my honey. Medicinal elixir is the cheap stuff (Jim Beam Rye) because I can't smell (or breathe). (BTW, back in the day Geo. Washington was our country's biggest producer of Rye.)

After a little prodding, Randy finally fessed up as the donor. I can't thank him enough and I think he is realizing a job that many of our members only dreamed of. His tools and resources are limited and this is his first real restoration. Not bad for a big-hearted and tenacious 60 yrs-old. My hat goes off to you, Randy. We are all here to answer any questions you will have down the road. - Dave
