    New steering wheel

I just got my new steering wheel from "Mother of Pearl treatment" in Australia, by Pearl Craft ( http://www.pearlcraft.com.au/ ). Im very happy with the result, and canīt wait until after the summer when "Ruth" will be in for a new Green & White Watson paint. I just sended a color sample as a guide and it will be realy nice

One good thing was that they didnīt mind if the old wheel was in real bad shape as they seems to take that off anyway. The chrome on the pic is whatīs came with the wheel, but will of course be re-chromed or changed later on.

Love the color, but did they fill in all the little groove details along the rim? Also looks like they softened the shape where the spokes meet the rim. I wouldn't have wanted those details changed myself, but the color and gloss is truly fantastic.

          Thanks guys
The small details are not there anymore, but thatīs not a problem in my opinion, as it is realt smooth and will pick up less dirt. The bigger finger grips on the back is there though. I guess the "pearl-thing" donīt allow for such a fine details. I donīt know. For me, itīs not a problem at all as it looks smooth and nice. The depth in the treatment is realy nice
I have now 3 steering wheels. One original restored in white by Jed, this one and another I bought from Jed for this purpose, but not yet used as it was cheeper to buy another wheel in Australia than sending the one from Jed from US to Australia. I might have that painted with red flakes or perhaps ask the guys here in our paintshop at work to spray it red or green chrome paint as we have that equippment. Then, I can change wheel depending on my mood

Hey, if you like it that's what matters, right?
