after replacing the heater core i still only get cold air in the car no mater what setting its on
so i did some looking under the hood. i found the coolant hoses are hot up to the Y and then cold between there and the core, and when it exits the core its cold up to the heat valve then cool from the valve back to the intake. so i put my brake bleeder vacuume pump on the vale and tried to draw a vacuum but no luck so i put the hoses back on and tried to trace them with no luck, can anyone point me in the right direction?
this is what im looking at under the hood
what is this small broken line? i dont see anywhere it should connect. there are 2 large lines that pass thru the firewall in the same location as the small line, 1 from the vacuum can, and the other steps down in size then connects to the heater valve
