Hi, thanks very much for the welcome! I'm 32 and after growing up with a 58 conv, which unfortunately was sold when I was in my early teens by my grandfather. I have always wanted one of my own.
I managed to stumble across nice enough 60 convertible. Total original condition other then where someone has replaced a rocker on the left side. Though judging by pictures not very well. Door gaps on both sides look a little out of whack. So straight away I'm up for both inner rockers and outer body work.

Though judging from the forum (I'm up to page 71 on squarebird) seems to pretty impossible to get a tbird without some sort of rott in the rockers. At least I know what I'm up for. I'd rather know it needs doing and do it right then buy a nice car that has been patched up.

Once I get the car on my door step, I will register it on the site.

My profession in Australia is, I'm an Auto electrician. Don't think it's a trade in the US, but basically I specialise in vehicle electrics which after reading the forums sounds like might be a good thing with the 60s convertible top

      Thanks for the warm welcome

      Wyldie

Wyldie when does the 60 arrive to your doorstep? Yes your expertise in the electrical field will come in handy

Should be about a month at a guess. Has to be trucked to New York, cleaned, loaded into a container, battle the oceans, unloaded, inspected, possibly cleaned again, then I can pick her up from the port
