    New interior

    Hi All
just got my 58 re-upolstered locally here in all leather. I am rather happy how it turned out. Its not for the concourse guys as i used 60 door panels as thats all i had here. There was not leather option in 58 i understand to.

Hamish looks great and you are correct leather was not an option in 58. I always apply a gentle conditioner on the seats once a year on my wife's 58.

      New interior

Hamish, that looks beautiful! It looks very well done. If you have the chance, flip down the backs of the front seats and take some more pix so we can get a better view of the door panels. I doubt that you will have Tbird judges showing up in your country to inspect and judge your Tbird! As our founder, Alexander Sosiak, told me, "you paid the money for your car and now you get to do with it what you want to." Words to that effect. I think it looks great, and something to be really proud of!

The fact that you were able to do it in leather and keep the two tone look is fantastic. All the factory leather seats were a single color and they didn't have the same eye appeal in my opinion. I'd much rather have leather in two tone than vinyl. Congrats on a great job.

          Very nice!

Didn't realize how much "cleaner" the interior looks with power windows (minus the window cranks).

Love the way you kept the two tone going in the console, too.

Thanks guys for the positive feed back.

I feel the guy did a great job and was really pleased with the look.

I was not really fussed with the casino cream when i first got her but now with a matching interior it really suits it and i am for sure keeping it.

The two tone is hard to see in the photos but it slightly cream to match the casino cream body color.

I will take some more photo's in a few weeks when i have the top all complete.

                Regards Hamish

                  New interior

Hamish, the guy certainly did a great looking job on the interior. I also like the way he did the center console, and the nice touch of adding the map pouches on the backs of the front seat. It all looks really nice. When you next take pix I would suggest a couple of things. Fold down the front seat backs and take some pix of the door panels. Also, you can certainly increase the size of your pix instead of uploading 310x414pixel pix. Increase the size to no more than 800pixels and upload them, or make them 610x480pixels. They will be easier to see and enjoy. If you have larger pix of those that you posted, you can replace these small ones with larger ones so we can get a better view of your gorgeous looking '58 Convertible! The interior colors go great with your external casino cream paint job!
