Dave and I are working on a special project that I think ya'll will love when we are finished. I am in need of some very good quality, color, large high definition pix of the '55, 55, '57 Nose emblem for those years. I think it was the same emblem each year. What I have are not high enough quality or definition. Make sure you keep any shadowing around the emblem out of the pictures.
If ya'll can help, please take some pix of those emblems on your Tbirds and send them to me. Make sure you are taking your pix straight on looking at the emblem, and not at an angle. Use a flash if necessary, but be careful that you don't get "flashback" showing on the emblem. Ideally, it might be better to take them in very good light without a flash.
This is something that I need pretty quickly, as I am part way through this project, but Dave and I have found that the emblems we have access to are low resolution, low quality pix. We need high definition pix, taken at 3mp, 3000 pixels or higher, like you would use when taking pix of your Tbird for the calendar. You can email them to my yellowrose@squarebirds.org email address. Thanks!
Here is what I understand the emblem looks like, but with the inlay piece in place. I got this from the Casco website, as I recall.
