    New front suspension

    Hello Members,

Has anyone installed modern suspension kits for a 67 Thunderbird? I'm not into air bags but I would like to put in all new suspension components. What's in my brother Ford is pretty rusted and beat up.
My 67 Chevy Impala has a lot of conversion kits out there. I'm wondering if any member knows of a vendor for Thunderbirds. Thank you.

The reason Chevy has all those suspension options is because they NEED IT! Our Squarebird front suspension is over-engineered and strong. The 'A' arms are so long, a spring compressor is not needed. They offer the best ride possible and can easily be retrofit with air bags.

      Thanks Dave,

I checked out my brothers car. The drivers front spring broke. I wish that I had the equipment that I had when I was in the automotive trade.
I did a total inspection of his front end and gave him a list of what needs to be replaced. I could do this repair but I'm not going out to get a hydraulic and spring compressor.
