A guest of our Forum, June Guzzetti, has asked us for an indication of what the value of this Japanese made 1960 Squarebird "Golde Top" model might be. I know that a number of you collect models, so you might be able to advise her. She should be able to view your comments as a guest. Here are the pix that she sent me.

1960 Model Squarebird Value
Hi
I'm looking through a book I have called Tinplate Toy Cars of the 1950's and 1960's from Japan, printed in 2008.A 1959 Buick by TN(Nomura) is valued between $1000 to $1500 but as always these are mint examples with the original box which is also in pristine condition
A 1959 Ford Fairlane is valued between$500 to $750
I would imagine a Golde Top Squarebird would be quite rare...looks like it has 1958 wheel trims
The "Holy Grail" is apparently a 1958 Edsel Citation by ATC valued at $3000 and upwards
There is this example on Ebay with a BIN price of $115
Plenty on You Tube about Japanese tin cars, like this Rocket Bird
