Tan Leather Bolsters and Inserts
Thunderbird's optional leather interior shown above in Tan (trim code 84). Notice the seat and side trim panel pattern differs from the interior trim patterns used with other upholstery materials.

The genuine leather upholstery pattern for 1960 differed from that of previous models, and also did not match the upholstery patterns for the cloth and vinyl, nor the all-vinyl interiors. The pattern utilized for the genuine leather interior was of a vertical pleated design, which extended to the door trim panels and the rear quarter trim panels. The only color selection in leather that featured a contrasting color was the code 84 Tan interior. The instrument panel, panel console, carpeting, and the section of the door trim panels that surrounds the metal trim are all a Dark Beige with this particular trim code only.
